Beautiful Liberty metal nostalgic box, finely decorated with the Montecatini coat of arms, a symbol of the uniqueness of the Montecatini Cialde and the love and attachment to it’s origins.
The ‘Cialda di Montecatini’ originates from a traditional Nordic wafer, a simple tasty and light biscuit made with high quality natural ingredients mixing together wheat flour 00, full cream milk, fresh eggs, sugar and almonds from the Puglia region. The production is carried out with two layers of wafers which contain an inimitable filling of almonds and sugar. The result is a biscuit that is light, friable, energetic and easily digested., it can be eaten as dessert with wine, with tea and chocolate, ice cream, delicate mousse, or simply alone.
Bargilli products do not contain fat, preservatives, chemical additives, they are completely natural.
Without dyes, preservatives and hydrogenated fats.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
For correct storage it is important to keep the product tightly closed.
In organic compotes, fruit fully expresses all its sweetening power, synthesized by the sun and nutrients of our Marche land.
The natural sweetness of fruit, balanced by the pleasant freshness of lemon, finds its story in our organic compotes.
Suitable for breakfast and snacks, they also go well with second courses, especially when the fruit is combined with spices and other fruits, such as ginger, cinnamon, black pepper and chilli pepper.
Fruit, organic cane sugar, organic lemon juice when needed, and no gluten.
Panforte is a typical and traditional Christmas cake.
Marabissi's Panforte is the result of processing and baking a dough made with quality raw materials: flour, candied fruit, almonds, sugar, honey and spices.
The Panforte created by Marabissi for Mattei is a mix between the two most famous and well-known panfortes (panpepato) and Panforte Margherita (which does not have caramelized sugars).
The amount of caramel (it is actually caramelized sugar and not toppings or artificial flavors) was measured by listening and trying to satisfy the expectations of Mattei (Rolando Beramendi), as well as the mix of spices which is completely original compared to the spices commonly used for the production of Panforte itself, having included star anise and Pimenta dioica.
The result is a pleasant mix of elegant and balanced spices, in a refined wrapping with our classic hand-tied with blue string.
The icing sugar is deliberately NOT included in the package, to be able to taste the Panforte without additional ingredients that would change the recipe.
It does not contain GMOs.
Ideal as an end to a meal for the holidays, it pairs with Vinsanto, Spumante, Aleatico, or Coffee.
Each Panforte Marabissi for Antonio Mattei is packaged and tied by hand. -
History
Since 1858, Prato Biscuits have been baked daily and hand-packed one by one, in the classic Blu Mattei bag.
The Dark Chocolate Biscuits came out of our oven for the first time in 2013, they are also hand-packed one by one, originally in a red bag but since 2019 in the Blu Mattei bag with a Red label.
In 2017 the Mattei family added the new Pistachios and Almonds flavor.
In the coffee, tobacco and spices shop under the loggias of Piazza del Comune in Prato, the Padovani family has been selling its precious coffee blends since the early 1900s.
The company was founded in 1961 by the resourcefulness of Alfredo Carrai, who, fascinated by the world of tea, accepted the challenge, albeit very young, to introduce the consumption and culture of this drink, then almost unknown, in Italy.
From the first SNAKE branded packs (later modified into SNAK), to the imports of tea in the packs of the countries of origin, up to the creation of the La Via del Tè brand in the 1980s, chosen as a tribute to the Japanese tradition of Chano-yu , which finds its foundation in Chado, "the way of tea".
More than fifty years later, the family business - in which each of the children leads a sector - is animated by the same passion of the beginnings.
Among the fragrant and generous hills that separate Corridonia from Monte San Giusto, in the province of Macerata, San Michele Arcangelo has been growing since 2007, dedicated to the care of the fruits of the earth, with a passion for goodness.
Careful and expert hands work the fruits of our fields, transforming them into organically certified products. Our artisan laboratory is alive and like any organism it grows and evolves. It is characterized by low temperature vacuum processing, capable of preserving all the nutritional and healthy principles of the individual products intact, allowing the aromas, colors and textures to be safeguarded.
Compotes with only organic fruit sugars; compotes and jams with organic cane sugar and organic lemon juice; the syrups immersed in an organic cane sugar solution; juices with only organic fruit; vegetables preserved in organic extra virgin olive oil of its own production; ORGANIC purées and sauces without gluten and without added preservatives.
The work of San Michele Arcangelo has roots that are rooted in social issues, it was born by offering opportunities for reintegration to disadvantaged people, coming from educational and therapeutic paths.
The excellence of the products of the land and their transformations is the result of work in a stable and positive environment and of the support of young people by professionals in the sector. The love of life and the love of nature merge into a virtuous reality, where what matters is birth for rebirth.
The earth welcomes man, work ennobles him, the community makes him better.
The name Pan "Forte" probably derives from the fact that the fruit inserted into the dough tended to become "strong" over time (Tuscan, as with wine), the spices were therefore used as a preservative (covering) and the almonds were subsequently also used both to "soften" the taste ("strong" + spices) and to make the dessert more pleasing to the eye and in any case enrich it with a healthy and rich ingredient.
For three generations, Marabissi has been synonymous with passion for the art of traditional Italian pastry making.
The history of Marabissi began more than sixty years ago with Tuscan 'cantucci' prepared according to an ancient recipe by Mrs. Jole. -
