• Description

  The 'Christmas with Tea' tin biscuit is the perfect gift to create the Christmas atmosphere. The great Classic of the Tuscan tradition: the Prato Biscuit (also called 'Cantuccio' or 'Cantuccino' with Almonds) is accompanied by the tasty spiced Christmas Tea from La Via del Té.
  It contains a 500 g pack of Prato Biscuits, a 100 g Christmas Tea tin.
  
  The Christmas Tin Biscuit Jar captures the enchantment of Christmas Eve, when the silent snow envelops everything in a quiet embrace, creating a magical and emotional atmosphere that anticipates the party. It is designed to be reused as a container for objects, perhaps Christmas ones, given the theme illustrated on the outside; for example, you can store tree baubles, party game cards and the most precious decorations.
  
  Prato Biscuits are prepared with flour, sugar, free-range eggs, almonds and pine nuts, they do not contain preservatives, nor animal fats, nor vegetable fats.
  
  La Via del Tè's Christmas Tea is an evocative blend based on green teas from China and Japan, which will bring Christmas to life every day.
  Characterized by the rich aroma of mandarin, a typical fruit of the season, and sweet notes of vanilla and piele, it is the perfect drink for the holidays.
  It pairs perfectly with traditional Christmas desserts and homemade cakes.
  Preparation:
  2/3 gr. per 200 cc. of water at a temperature of 80°, leave to infuse for 2-3 minutes

• History

  The Christmas Tin Biscuit Jar, created in 2024 for the Antonio Mattei Biscuit Factory, is the result of the talent of illustrators Simone Massoni and Ilaria Falorsi. This is the first tin biscuit jar dedicated to Christmas, designed not only to house traditional biscuits, but also other matching products. Furthermore, it is designed to be reused in homes as a container for precious objects.
  
  Since 1858, Biscuits from Prato have been baked daily and packaged by hand one by one, in the classic Blu Mattei bag.
  Prepared with flour, sugar, free range eggs, almonds and pine nuts, they do not contain preservatives, animal fats or vegetable fats.
  
  In fact, in June 2019, the Biscottificio Mattei Blu bags were officially registered and trademarked as a Unique Color; an important and rare award that definitively gives this historic packaging its uniqueness and belonging to the historic biscuit factory.
  Now all our Biscuits are packaged with the Blu Mattei bag, with elements of different colors that distinguish the different flavors.
  
  The La Via el Té company was founded in 1961 by the resourcefulness of Alfredo Carrai, who, fascinated by the world of tea, accepted the challenge, albeit very young, to introduce the consumption and culture of this drink, then almost unknown, in Italy.
  From the first SNAKE branded packs (later modified into SNAK), to the imports of tea in the packs of the countries of origin, up to the creation of the La Via del Tè brand in the 1980s, chosen as a tribute to the Japanese tradition of Chano-yu , which finds its foundation in Chado, "the way of tea".
  More than fifty years later, the family business - in which each of the children leads a sector - is animated by the same passion of the beginnings.
